Why You Love It: An adorable, quirky town to explore (that not many people know about!) There are so many great restaurants, vintage shops, music theatres and beautiful parks to explore!
5 Places to See, Eat or Go:
1.) Faces - A fun store to explore for everyone. It includes clothing, home goods, stationary, and best of all - gifts that provide comedic relief :)
2.) Tunnel Bar - great atmosphere and even better cocktails
3.) Pizzeria Paradiso - Amazing food. In the summer months - there is an alleyway that is all lit up for seating - so quaint!
4.) Look Memorial Park - One of the best parks in the area. Pack up a picnic lunch and head there for the afternoon!
5.) Calvin Theatre and Performing Arts Center - Amazing place to catch a band/live music!
5 Items to Pack:
1.) Everyone is Northampton is pretty down to earth and laid back. Pack your comfy clothing!
2.) Bring workout clothing/shoes. There are plenty of parks and trails to explore!
3.) An empty stomach to take in all the yummy food!
4.) A good book. This town is so relaxing - take your book to a local cafe and get into it!
5.) An open mind - I always bring this with me when I travel.
Locals Only Tip: If your driving there, park in the car garages- you will waste your time looking for on street parking and the garage is super cheap! :)
