In the Kitch: Sunday Suppers Mother's Day Brunch

After reading about my friend Lauren's recent experience at Sunday Suppers, and then perusing Cup of Jo to see her mouth watering visit - I knew my Mother's Day brunch menu was selected. Lucky for us, Joanna shared all of the recipes here. Last year my sister and I started a tradition of making brunch for our family on Mother's Day, it's selfishly as fun for us as it is for our mom!
Emma made Lillet Rose cocktails (we used this recipe but topped with champagne) to start and we served them with our version of Nutella toasts (Trader Joe's Cocoa Almond Spread) with sea salt- both were amazing. I plan on indulging in this combo on Sunday mornings with a large pot of coffee in the near future. We then made baked (instead of fried) panko encrusted goat cheese medallions served over mixed greens and apple slices. Finally, we INDULGED in Croque Monsieur French Toast - and yes it was as amazing as it sounds!
Happy Mother's Day to the best Momma - I love you!
