In the Kitch: Coconut Tart with Chocolate Smear
The Coconut Tart with Chocolate Smear recipe from Mark Bittman’s Food Matters cookbook is incredibly easy to whip up, is so delicious and is perfect to serve guests. I love a simple dessert. It happens to be gluten and dairy free (though I don’t follow any restricted diet) and requires only 7 ingredients. I used sweetened coconut because it’s what I had on hand but the next time I make this tart I will use natural. I highly suggest Bittman’s cookbook if you’re at all interested in healthy, clean cooking with a lot of flavor. I have about 20 pages earmarked right now!
